This builing complex, part of which is included in insula M1 extended from Couretes Street to the theatre of Ephesos, is situated on the northeast slope of the hill Panayir Dağ. It includes residential buildings, which presents different building phases dated to the 1st till the 4th century AD, as well as establishments of a large public latrine dated to the 2nd century AD. |

The Geronticon of Nysa, mentioned by Strabo, is believed to be the Bouleuterion (Council House) of the city. It is a small building of theatrical type with a semicircular auditorium (cavea) enclosed within rectangular walls. It is dated to the late Hellenistic period while during the Roman Period was considerably altered. Today it is the best preserved building of the ancient city. |
