SUMMARY
Monk, anchorite and presbyter. He was born in Synada in Phrygia to a family of Jews. He developed great activity towards the conversion of Jews. He traveled to Cyprus and many regions of Asia Minor, while he gained fame for his ascetic life and the miracles attributed to him. He died in the end of the 9th century, on December 26th, and was proclaimed a saint. |
