Philosopher and seer, founder of an oracle at his birthpalce, the city of Abonou Teichos in Paphlagonia. He lived between 105 and 175 AD. He became famous all over the empire, even among the most powerful Romans. The subsequent proconsul of Asia, Rutilianus, was his son-in-law. He died without appointing a successor.
