first half of 14th c.: Andronikos Grand Komnenos, the future Emperor Andronikos III, is born at Trebizond.

1330: Alexios II Grand Komnenos, father of Andronikos dies. Andronikos is proclaimed emperor.

between 1330 and 1332: Turkmen launch a raid under the leadership of Pairames into the territory of the Empire of Trebizond. Andronikos manages to successfully repel them.

January, 8 1332: Death of Andronikos. Manuel II Grand Komnenos is proclaimed emperor.
